Mr. Mohammed Faisal is the Head of Finance and Administration of Tala Island. He is a financial professional with over 18 years of experience in finance field of various industries such as production, services and property development. He earned his Master’s degree in Commerce with Majors in Accounting, Strategic Management and Financial Management.
As the Financial Controller, he is responsible for the correct use of funds made available to the Organization as well as financial affairs, reporting, budget control, management and administrative functions of Tala Island. He joined Tala in the year 2005, during the development phase, and soon became Financial Controller of the multimillion-dollar project. He played a vital role throughout the project development and shares the credit of successful completion and delivery of the project. Currently he is responsible to plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities concerned with the island and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
Prior to his role at Tala Island, Faisal worked at DHL Aviation Services as Chief Accountant. He also served in production, maintenance and education sectors of different organizations holding several positions over eight years period within and outside of Bahrain.
Mr. Faisal holds active memberships of some international financial bodies such as IMA. He has attended various professional development seminars and training sessions including South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) seminar Presentation Skills & Training Course (PSTC) and webinars conducted by IMA.
Jaffar Talib Merza is the Maintenance and Operation Manager of Tala Island. He graduated from University of Bahrain in 2004/2005 with a B.S.C in Civil Engineering. He holds membership in several professional Engineering societies such as:
He started his career by working for Abutalib Construction in the year 2004. In 2006, he joined Mohammed Salahualdeen Consultant (MSCEB) as the Site Engineer.
In March 2008, he joined Tala Development as a Project Engineer. By the end of 2010, he was assigned the duties of Maintenance and Operations of Tala Island Facility Management. He is responsible and looks after all aspects pertaining to Maintenance of the Island such as:
Abdulla Moosa holds extensive industry experience with over 30 years in Security, Property Management and Documentation.
Prior to joining Tala Island he worked for Al Khaleej Development Company (Tameer) for thirteen years as a Property Manager. Prior to that, he spent 20 years in the Ministry of Interior’s training department.
Maha Abdelrazeq is the Public and Client Relations Manager at Tala Island. She has around 17 years of work experience; at least seven of those has been managing and coordinating events for USAID tourism development projects. In addition, she has a solid background in administrative services and extensive expertise in USAID procedures and regulations. Maha uses an entrepreneurial and results-oriented approach to achieve success while executing events. Her professional and social personality ensures that she creates and maintains excellent relations with clients, vendors and stakeholders to ensure a successful working relationship and that her organization.
Maha is a capable, intelligent and very presentable public and client specialist with the ability to understand a client’s objectives, industry and mission statement. She has the ability to use social media to engage with a target audiences and get messages across the public. Plus her project management skills that enables her to lead teams for the goals intended with the clients and company’s interest maintained.
Maha plan and direct the creation of material that will enhance the public image of company and clients as well.
Maha has proven experience in developing PR strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to improve public perception of the company. She is responsible for formulating policies and procedures related to public information programs and managing the company’s reputation with the public in general and its clients.
